Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Specialist to join their team as a Lead Teacher - Year 6. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring Year 6 students, preparing them for the transition to secondary school.

About the Role

This full-time role involves a commitment of 5 days per week with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, teaching, and marking. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and inspire Year 6 students, preparing them for the transition to secondary school
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning environment
  • Mark and assess students' work regularly to track progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with the school team to deliver high-quality education and support student development

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in UK schools
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A passion for supporting children's academic and personal growth

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per year. This figure is based on national averages for a Lead Teacher position in Nuneaton.
