Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at VINCI Building UK. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the conduct of non-contentious matters, including reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts, as well as working with external solicitors.

About the Role:

  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients, sub-contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Draft and maintain precedent forms of contracts and agreements for use in the business.
  • Provide legal support to our project and delivery teams, including drafting correspondence and advising on claims issues.
  • Assist with training and knowledge sharing within the business.
  • Occasionally support with contentious matters, including adjudications.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience (predominantly non-contentious) gained within an in-house or private practice.
  • Familiarity with industry standard forms such as JCT and NEC.
