About the Role:
TT Games Studios Limited is seeking a skilled Level Designer to join our team. As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and fun levels for our upcoming LEGO game.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-quality levels that support the game's vision and creative pillars.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, such as gameplay coders and environment artists, to ensure a cohesive and polished game experience.
- Follow level design best practices and ensure stability and quality throughout development.
- Participate in level design reviews and provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Work with the production team to verify task estimations and deliver work to deadlines.
- Encourage a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and respect within the team.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable progressively complex experience on AAA titles, with a title shipped in a level design position.
- Broad knowledge of game and level design, including layout, combat, and encounter design, balancing, flow, difficulty, progression, and usability.
- Passion for creating fun and accessible games for children and families.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with scripting gameplay and levels, ideally in Blueprint.
- Experience with game development and shipped at least one action or action/adventure title on console or PC.
- Ability to take direction and feedback well.
- Experience with UE4/UE5 is an advantage.
