Social Work Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Work Supervisor to join our successful North East team. As a key member of our fostering service, you will play a vital role in supporting foster carers and the children entrusted to their care across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional supervision and support to foster families.
- Collaborate effectively with other professionals involved in the children's lives.
- Develop insightful reports and attend meetings.
- Champion the well-being of children in foster care.
Requirements:
- A genuine desire to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- Strong commitment to our values: respect, honesty, transparency, reliability, and a child-centered approach.
- Experience managing a caseload.
- Willingness to participate in our on-call system for out-of-hours support.
- Relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- In-depth knowledge of fostering regulations, child protection, and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A car and valid driving license (for out-of-hours requirements).
