At Frontline, we're dedicated to empowering families and children through innovative social work practices. As a Trainee Social Worker, you'll embark on a life-changing journey, blending learning and practice to become an exceptional children's social worker and leader.

Your Journey

Year 1: Intensive online study, five in-person sessions, and a 12-month placement in a local council social work team

Year 2: Managing your own caseload, ongoing study, and continued support from Frontline tutors and your employer

Year 3: Conducting a research project and completing the academic credits needed for your master's degree

Who We're Looking For

We seek individuals with potential to become outstanding children's social workers and leaders, empowering families to achieve positive change. No specific experience is required, and we value diverse perspectives and experiences.

You'll meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum 2.2 undergraduate honours degree (or international equivalent)
  • GCSE English Language at Grade C/4 or above (or approved equivalent qualification)
  • The right to work and study in the UK for the duration of the programme
  • Residency in England by the time the programme commences
  • Not being a qualified social worker
