We are seeking an experienced History Teacher to join our team at a fantastic school in Enfield, London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging History lessons that inspire students and promote a love for learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters personal and academic growth
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
  • Stay up-to-date with educational developments and best practices in History teaching

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and relevant teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for History among students

Salary Estimate: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
