Morson Group is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team in Barrow-In-Furness.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles.

We offer a competitive salary of ££65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including programme management, business analysis, and IT development. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating programme situations where there is complexity and ambiguity, adopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities, and developing, communicating, and implementing the strategic and operational management of the programme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating programme situations where there is complexity and ambiguity;
  • Aadopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities;
  • Eliciting, identifying, and prioritising programme needs;
  • Models current and desired scenarios as directed;
  • Develops, communicates, and implements the strategic and operational management of the programme;
  • Coordinates and manages the development of architecture across the programme;
  • Maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to appropriate functional standards;
  • Carries out capability improvement assignments, such as maturity or performance assessments;
Core Duties:

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Able to perform intermediate project reporting & scheduling;
  • Able to undertake intermediate problem solving typically based on previous experience;
  • Have a good knowledge of Business processes and procedures;
  • Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/ Microsoft packages;
  • Able to lead a small non-complex project or a work package of a larger project;
  • Able to manage the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved;
  • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project;
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or business administration, and have relevant experience in enterprise architecture, programme management, or business analysis. Professional certifications, such as TOGAF Standard, British Computer Society, or Business Architecture Guild, would be advantageous.
