Key Responsibilities
This Audit and Compliance Professional role requires a highly organized individual who can demonstrate an understanding of issues and problems raised and propose viable solutions within acceptable scope. The successful candidate will assist the Compliance Team in compliance matters, perform due diligence, risk assessments, and execute strategies to prevent money laundering and combating finance terrorism. This includes tracking reporting of identified observations during AML audits, regularly interacting and participating in regular meetings with relevant stakeholders to track and update progress, and maintaining detailed knowledge of current practice within own area of experience. Additionally, they will provide subject matter expertise to strengthen controls design and implementation effectiveness and support the development of compliance standards and procedures that enable the organization to act in a compliant manner. The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a degree (or equivalent) or comparable work experience, with 1-2 years of relevant local working experience in a compliance role. They will also possess broad technical compliance knowledge in relation to AML/CFT, knowledge of regulations and procedures, and experience in Banking and Financial Services industry, particularly card schemes and alternative payments. Furthermore, they should be detail-oriented with good organizational skills and problem management skills, able to escalate when appropriate, execute responsibilities with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple tasks, bring tasks to completion within established timeframes, clear and concise verbal and written communication, proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, conscientious, reliable, hardworking, and able to work unsupervised. Good communication skills and high standard of written/verbal communication are essential.
