Structural Engineer Job Description

A leading structural engineering firm in London is seeking an experienced and chartered structural engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in buildings structures engineering, with a focus on structural appraisal and inspection work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site visits, surveying and reporting on structural conditions, and providing recommendations for repairs and maintenance. They will also be involved in structural design work, including the development of design schemes and the preparation of technical reports.

The firm specializes in a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, conservation, and refurbishment schemes. They work with big-name clients and have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work.

The ideal candidate will be a chartered MIStructE or MICE, with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations. They will be physically able to travel to sites, have good communication skills, and be able to work autonomously.
