Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Danfoss. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute standard processes and tools to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Coordinate PPAPs and ramp up/ramp down activities to ensure smooth operations
  • Support the Sourcing Project Manager on ramp up/ramp down process of new projects
  • Act as the first escalation point for supply and/or quality issues
  • Facilitate supplier workshops to improve supplier performance
  • Owning and maintaining procurement master data for local/regional sites
  • Drive capacity management with suppliers to ensure alignment with current forecast and growth opportunities
  • Pricing and price change reporting
  • Maintenance of tooling register
  • Support efforts to secure the best total cost of ownership
Requirements
  • Relevant background and experience within procurement or supply chain functions, ideally spent within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and drive positive results through creation of positive relationships
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with categories and components would be highly advantageous
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
