Fire Suppression Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Service Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Fire Suppression Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens and undertaking small projects works.

About the Role

  • Attend customer sites to maintain, service, and commission fire suppression equipment
  • Modification and remedial works
  • Testing systems and equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing various fire and security systems and equipment
  • PPMs (pre-planned maintenance) of systems and equipment
  • Attending breakdowns and call-outs
  • Fault-finding and remedial works (mechanical/electrical)
  • Small works projects
  • Work closely with facilities/building managers and directly with clients
  • Preparation and completion of job worksheets, paperwork, and reports
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with relevant British Standards

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Ansul R102 and Piranha systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent driving ability and confident in driving in and out of Cardiff and the surrounding areas
  • Good communication skills when dealing with customers
  • Attention to detail and takes pride in works completed
  • Adhering to strict Fire/Security and Health and Safety regulations
  • Flexible approach to working hours (will be paid from door to door)
