Fire Suppression Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Service Engineer to join our team at Detail2Recruitment. As a Fire Suppression Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of fire suppression equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites to perform maintenance and servicing of fire suppression equipment
  • Modification and remedial works on fire suppression systems
  • Testing and inspection of fire suppression equipment
  • Maintenance and repair of various fire and security systems and equipment
  • Pre-planned maintenance (PPM) of systems and equipment
  • Attending breakdowns and call-outs
  • Fault-finding and remedial works (mechanical and electrical)
  • Small works projects
  • Working closely with facilities and building managers on site and directly with clients
  • Preparation and completion of job worksheets, paperwork, and reports
  • Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with relevant British Standards
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Ansul R102 and Piranha systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent driving ability and confident in driving in and out of Cardiff and surrounding areas
  • Good communication skills when dealing with customers
  • Attention to detail and takes pride in work completed
  • Adhering to strict fire/security and health and safety regulations
  • Flexible approach to working hours (will be paid from door to door)
