Main Responsibilities:
- Travel training using public transport to enhance the client's independence and confidence.
- Role-playing scenarios to support the client in using technology and navigating unfamiliar areas.
- Assisting the client in booking tickets and finding the best deals.
- Accompanying the client to the shops and supporting them in making independent purchases.
- Encouraging the client to grow in confidence and develop resilience in the face of challenges.
- Assisting the client in ordering meals independently and developing healthy eating habits.
Requirements:
- A DBS check will be required for this role.
- The successful candidate must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable, with a caring disposition.
- They must respect the client's privacy and maintain their dignity at all times.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm are essential, as the candidate will need to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances.
