We are currently seeking a talented Social Care Professional to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safeguarding enquiries, providing advice, and conducting home visits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries.
  • Providing advice to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns.
  • Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports.
  • Liaising with other professionals.
  • Holding cases.
  • Working with people at risk and people who have caused harm.
  • Attending multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience as a Locality Social Worker or within a Safeguarding Team in the UK Social Care industry.
  • HCPC Registration is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB is preferred (Ackerman Pierce Ltd can assist with obtaining this).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
