We are seeking an experienced Emerging Talent Advisor to join our team at SGN. As a key member of our HR Directorate, you will play a vital role in identifying, developing, and delivering early careers focused programs of learning across our UK locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of our emerging talent strategy across SGN UK locations, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders to ensure talent programs are effectively delivered.
  • Review and improve the talent development cycle, experience, and processes, ensuring the effective implementation of quality, strategic, and program delivery improvement plans.
  • Deliver learning and skills programs for emerging talent activities across all SGN locations, using our internal Learning Management System (Cornerstone) and external training partners.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external training suppliers, colleges, universities, professional bodies, and internal SMEs/stakeholders.
  • Support individual and program learning & skills progression throughout the program duration, offering advice and pastoral support to our emerging talent community.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR Directorate to support early talent recruitment campaigns, including school events, careers fairs, and assessment days.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver emerging talent induction programs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of apprenticeship and/or graduate program management within a highly compliant industry.
  • Able to effectively communicate and liaise with stakeholders at varying levels, work to tight deadlines, prioritize varying workloads, and project manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify issues proactively and ensure the situation is resolved as a priority.
  • Experience of funded learning programs, including ESFA/SDS funding regulations and apprenticeship frameworks/standards.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft office packages.
