About the Role

The Senior Implementation Manager is a critical position within Allegis Global Solutions, responsible for implementing MSP and RPO operational services with a supporting SaaS vendor system. This individual will lead activities of project management, solution design, resource management and training, client testing/validation support, and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage the client relationship throughout the implementation life cycle, acting as key project contact to assure accurate and consistent communication throughout the implementation.
  • Project Team Management: Manage multiple resources within the project management and process consulting sub-teams.
  • Solution Delivery: Drive key decisions and assure a best-in-class solution is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the activities of all implementation project team members – both those reporting directly and all matrixed resources.
  • Project Artifacts: Own and maintain primary project artifacts, including but not limited to: project plans, scope documents, RASCIs, status reports, AGS 360 records, RAID logs, executive presentations, etc.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule.
  • Project Logistics: Support the project staff by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, and general administrative/coordination tasks.
  • Meeting Minutes and Action Items: Assure that meeting minutes and action items are accurate and distributed to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Project Deliverables: Hold accountable all implementation project team members to their project deliverables, conducting follow-up and issue resolution to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify project risk and issue areas, and escalate within AGS, technology partner, and client escalation channels as appropriate.
  • Business Development: Support business development initiatives (internal or external) as implementation SME.
  • Implementation Best Practices: Identify and document implementation best-practices and socialize them across AGS teams as appropriate.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and/or train new implementation team members.
Requirements
  • Project Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in directly managing client relationships with a successful track record in delivering complex solutions on time and within budget.
  • MSP Solution Concepts: Proficient with a variety of the MSP solution concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to summarize complex technical and functional information clearly and articulately to all levels and audiences.
  • Task Prioritization: Expert ability to complete a variety of tasks across multiple solutions offerings, and to autonomously prioritize activities (own and others) based on project needs.
  • Consulting and Negotiation Skills: Excellent consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Fast-Paced Projects: Demonstrated experience in working on fast-paced, highly visible projects or teams.
  • MS Office Products: Expert with MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Project Planning: Expert in creating and maintaining project plans via MS Project Schedule.
  • Independence and Self-Learning: Must be able to work independently and take initiative to self-learn.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong client-facing and business skills – role is more focused on delivery of business solutions than technical project management.
  • Mentorship and Training: Trains and mentors new and/or junior members of the team.
  • Implementation Methodology: Dedicates effort to enhance implementation methodology by identifying and deploying process improvement strategies across team.
  • Implementation Best Practices: Identifies and documents implementation best-practices and socializes them across AGS teams as appropriate.
Experience and Education
  • Project Management Experience: Prior project management experience, preferably on software or operational projects within highly complex organizations/customers.
  • MSP or RPO Experience: Prior MSP or RPO and/or VMS or ATS experience.
  • Implementation or Process Efficiency Experience: Prior implementation or process efficiency experience preferred.
  • Direct Report Management: Demonstrated experience managing direct reports.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred or other project management certification.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 25%.
