Job Overview:

As a Risk Management Specialist at Capital One UK, you will play a key role in our Consumer Duty and Customer Outcome Testing team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee governance within customer-focused forums and ensure we focus on key areas as a business.

Working closely with the business, you will ensure that consumer committee and forum materials are captured, reviewed, and challenged where applicable. You will also support the facilitation of key Consumer Duty governance committees and play a core role in the ongoing programme of governance improvement across the Risk Office and wider business.

In this role, you will review insights identified across multiple sources and highlight any key themes that are consistent across these or relevant issues identified in single tests. You will work collaboratively with different stakeholders, including colleagues from various departments and external partners.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham offices, with a hybrid working model offering flexibility to work from home or our offices three days a week.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management, internal risk management, and stakeholder management. They should be able to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, collaborate with different stakeholders, and partner within and beyond the team.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of customers, customer regulation, and Consumer Duty.
  • Proven experience in analysing qualitative and quantitative data and summarising findings into key insights.
  • Great stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate and influence a wide range of different people.
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring thoroughness and accuracy when completing presentations and reports.
