About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, security, and independence are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, taking into account their unique life histories and experiences.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing essential physical and mental care, as well as administering medication and conducting medication audits.
  • Contribute to the development of care policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and caring for individuals with dementia.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
