We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Officer Apprentice to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day activities, ensuring the premises are safe, fit for purpose, and in line with the organization's needs.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure buildings, valuables, or people are safe, secure, and set up to standard.
- Conduct health and safety checks and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of staff members, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and all equipment is returned.
- Keep the asset register and staff allocation documents up to date.
- Liaise with delivery personnel to ensure all deliveries are collected, inventoried, and placed securely.
- Perform basic handyperson services, such as fixing equipment and completing DIY tasks.
- Monitor stock levels of office equipment and furniture and replenish as required.
- Store management - Monitor stock levels and order consumables for storerooms.
