We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Fire Safety Specialist to join our team at CV Library. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in fire safety engineering and a deep understanding of nuclear site licensing, safety assessment principles, and regulatory guidance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Fire Engineer with expertise in energy projects to work on some of the UK's largest and most complex programmes. You will be responsible for developing design solutions encompassing evacuation plans, detection, suppression, alarms, compartmentalisation, and firefighting access/facilities.

As a Senior Fire Protection Systems Designer, you will prepare and coordinate assessment and analysis delivery for projects, interfacing with engineering, project management, project controls, and document management functions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop robust plans for fire protection systems design and ensure timely delivery, cost, and quality alignment.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to junior fire safety engineers and other adjacent disciplines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, high-quality solutions.

The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
