We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Bristol, focusing on sustainable construction and business growth. This role involves identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and creating a database of potential projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building positive relationships internally and externally, leading to successful outcomes and work for the business. They will also be able to contribute to the regional business plan and national strategic development activity.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic industry leader that raises the bar in sustainable construction. The salary for this role is estimated at £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  1. Sustainable Construction Expertise: You will help shape the future portfolio of projects, focusing on sustainable construction and business growth.
  2. Relationship Building: You will develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business success.
  3. Opportunity Identification: You will identify and create opportunities for all BAM Construct business streams, including tender and negotiated projects.
  4. Database Management: You will maintain a database of potential opportunities, generating, maintaining, and sharing market knowledge and intelligence.
  5. Tender Support: You will assist the Pre-Construction team with tender preparation, written responses, and presentations.
  6. Customer Satisfaction: You will conduct customer satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and improve services.
  7. Corporate Entertainment: You will manage corporate entertainment events and attend professional dinners on behalf of BAM.
