Are you a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant with extensive experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMHA) requirements?

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a SEMHA Specialist Support Worker at Sy3, working closely with students aged 9-16 who have EHCPs, specifically those with SEMHA and additional complex needs such as ASD, MLD, and ADHD.

The successful applicant will possess a Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent, along with significant experience in supporting children with SEMHA. An updated and clean DBS on the update service is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist support to students with SEMHA and additional complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to inspire and motivate students, while maintaining a calm and patient demeanor in challenging situations.

What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.

A referral bonus of £250 is available for successful referrals of suitable candidates for other roles within Sy3.
