As part of our commitment to excellence, we're seeking a skilled Biomass Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This exciting role will play a vital part in ensuring the quality of our biomass fuel, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining our position as market leaders.

About the Role:

We are offering a highly competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Sampling processed material from our site and testing for particle size and moisture.
  • Monitoring inbound quality at our facility.
  • Maintaining a database of supplier quality.
  • Providing guidance to Operations on what can be accepted/rejected based on current fuel/plant issues.
  • Conducting site visits, sampling, and audits of third-party processed materials.
  • Working closely with our Procurement team to audit and maintain supply chain quality.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Maths and English to minimum GCSE standard.
  • IT qualification or familiarity with MS Office products.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology.
  • A current clean UK driving license.
  • Material testing (specific training will be provided).
  • Audit (internal) training/experience.
