As a Visiting Moderator for Art and Design, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of assessment processes. You will visit centres to review centre assessments of candidates' work, ensuring they meet the agreed assessment criteria and Pearson's procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • To conduct moderation of parts of a subject examination, such as coursework, projects, and special studies, marked initially by teachers in the centres.
  • To undertake direct assessment of school-based components in the subject when necessary, where centres opt not to make initial assessments.

You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant subject and level, since qualifying as a teacher.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £700-£1000, based on industry standards.
