Commissioning Case Coordinator

About the Role

The Commissioning Case Coordinator will play a key role in the Continuing Healthcare team, working closely with local community providers, Hertfordshire Community Trust, and Hertfordshire County Council. The team is responsible for ensuring that there are sufficient, good-quality nursing homes and homecare providers to meet the needs of people who are assessed as being eligible for CHC.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with commissioning and procurement issues, administration, and sourcing of appropriate placements for patients. They will also maintain accurate records and support all aspects of work within the Adult Continuing Healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Significant administrative/secretarial experience, including initiating and maintaining office systems
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and multitask
