Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's team in the Baglan area. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of packaging machinery and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate packaging machinery to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Run the roll pack bundler machine and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Change polyethylene reels and manage the machinery changeover process.
  • Stop and restart machines as needed and perform small maintenance activities.
  • Check product compliance with data sheets and draft production control documents.
  • Support colleagues in their tasks and oversee the end-line process when required.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the working area and adhere to health and safety rules.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or operator role, preferably in a heavy industry background.
  • Motivation and commitment to progress your career in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment, and the company offers a no-conviction policy.
