Neonatal Transport Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Transport Nurse to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Transfer Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill neonates requiring transfer across London and beyond.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatal intensive care, with experience in delivering care to acute neonatal patients. You will be responsible for leading by example as an expert specialist neonatal nurse, working as part of a team to facilitate neonatal transfers across London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to critically ill neonates requiring transfer
- Lead by example as an expert specialist neonatal nurse
- Work as part of a team to facilitate neonatal transfers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of the Neonatal Transfer Team
We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and experience:
- RSCN/RN qualification
- ENB 405 (or equivalent) qualification
- Qualified in specialty HDU & ITU
- ENB 998 (or equivalent) mentorship qualification
- NLS qualification
- Proven experience in a tertiary level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Significant experience of delivering care to acute neonatal patients
