Neonatal Transport Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Transport Nurse to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Transfer Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill neonates requiring transfer across London and beyond.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in neonatal transport nursing, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide expert care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to stabilize and transfer critically ill neonates.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example as an expert specialist neonatal nurse on the Neonatal Transfer Team for London.
- Work as part of a team in facilitating neonatal transfers across London and the South East.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for an experienced Neonatal Transport Nurse with a strong background in neonatal care. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a tertiary level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in neonatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
