About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Contract and Procurement team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation in providing timely, efficient, and cost-effective services to its stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of procurement projects, covering a wide range of supplies, from small spend framework call-offs to commodities, fleet, waste, and more.
  • Deliver procurement across the organisation, from commissioning through to contract management and renewals, supporting all tender activities across the business.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with PCR15 regulations and other relevant procurement guidelines.
Requirements
  • Public sector procurement experience, with a working knowledge of PCR15 regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, with the ability to build and maintain key relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of managing small and large public sector tenders.
  • CIPS Level 3 or relevant qualifications.
