Procurement Mastery

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring a diverse range of materials, components, and services to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure high-quality materials, components, and services to meet business needs.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers to optimize project costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality materials.
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities in the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost efficiency and improve margins.
Drive Cost Efficiency

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving cost efficiency across our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating favorable terms and contracts with suppliers to unlock significant cost savings.
  • Conducting regular cost analyses to identify new ways to save and improve margins.
Supplier Excellence

We are committed to building strong relationships with our suppliers and ensuring that they meet our high standards. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leading performance reviews and managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with our standards.
Continuous Improvement

We are always looking for ways to improve our processes and drive efficiency. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in:

  • Streamlining and improving procurement processes to boost efficiency across the board.
  • Leveraging our MRP system to manage, track, and refine purchasing activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
  • A proven track record of successful procurement management in a dynamic, rapidly growing company.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to strike the perfect balance between quality and cost.
  • Stellar organizational and time-management abilities—juggling multiple priorities with ease.
  • Exceptional understanding and experience of contract management.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A sharp, analytical mindset with the ability to conduct cost analyses and market research.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the drive to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the confidence to make decisions independently.
