Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad.
About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Our school is designed to cater to children with communication needs, often associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
You will be part of a close-knit community where you can make a tangible difference every day. The school offers a fulfilling environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and a vibrant outdoor playground.
Key Responsibilities- Support children 1:1, in small groups, and in whole-class settings, ensuring that every child's needs are met in a calm and positive environment.
- Help create engaging lessons and activities that bring out the best in each student, working closely with a dedicated and collaborative team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with SEN (Highly Desirable)
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to free, fully funded training and qualifications, as well as opportunities to develop your skills and progress in a supportive environment.
