Barnet, Greater London, United Kingdom HealthX Group UK Ltd Full time
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced senior nurse to co-manage the expansion of Clinical Services, which includes In-House, Community, and Play Services. This role involves supporting the leadership, management, development, and transformation of Clinical Services at a children's hospice.

The Clinical Services Team provides care for children staying at the facility, as well as those visiting for events and daycare. Central to our care model is offering families a range of choices, with the team also supporting children in their homes and other community settings.

The post holder will be pivotal in developing the service and leading the operational delivery of family-centred care, ensuring the highest possible standards of care for referred babies, children, young people, and their families.

You will assist the team in delivering clinical and holistic care to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, along with support for their families.

The role is based in a new, purpose-built facility set in a nature reserve. The environment is one of laughter, play, and meaningful connection, with a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

With a team of talented individuals who share our commitment to improving the lives of seriously unwell children and their families, we are transforming Paediatric Palliative Care in the region.

  13. Competent IT skills, e.g., Microsoft packages, email, electronic patient records, and electronic rostering.
  14. Experience of supporting BCYP at end of life and care after death, including symptom management.
  15. Involvement in facilitating simulation for teaching of clinical skills.
