Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and caring individual to lead our care team as a Senior Care Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising your shift, managing resident cases, administering medication, conducting risk assessments, and supporting residents with daily needs.
About the Role
- Supervise and lead your care team
- Manage resident cases and communicate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
- Administer and record medication accurately
- Conduct thorough risk assessments
- Support residents with daily needs and activities
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £18,500 - £20,000 per annum (£18.33-£19.66 per hour), dependent on experience and qualifications

About You
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent desirable
- Experience in leading and supervising others in a care setting
- Good understanding of care planning processes and ability to apply them effectively
- Ability to administer medication safely and accurately
Location
This role is based in Blaydon-on-Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England, and is a full-time permanent position.
