Job Title: Teaching and Learning Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our educational community in Watford. As a Teaching and Learning Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs.

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

About the Job

This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide individualised and group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. You will work closely with classroom teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans and interventions.

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the necessary resources to thrive academically and emotionally.
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing specialised education plans and strategies designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate closely with SENCOs and other members of the school staff to develop and implement personalised learning goals and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students' academic and social development.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent are advantageous but not essential.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
