Internal Job Title: Marketing Services Manager
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits
Location: Remote working with a dedicated hub for team collaboration and meetings
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9:00 - 17:30, Friday 9:00 - 17:00
As the Canal & River Trust's largest charity, we're responsible for maintaining 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England and Wales. Our mission is to preserve our 250-year-old canal network, providing a free and accessible green space for millions of people. This role is crucial in helping us achieve our goal by maintaining our visual and verbal identity.
The Team You'll Be Joining
You'll be part of a small, agile team that works closely with colleagues from across the organisation to produce and deliver marketing and communications materials. Our team acts as the guardians of the brand, providing guidance, tools, and resources to ensure consistent communication of our visual and verbal identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the image and film library to optimise user search.
- Plan and organise photography shoots.
- Keep guidelines and assets up-to-date on the brand centre.
- Update and create new digital and print templates for marketing materials.
- Make small edits to documents using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Quality check designs for brand alignment, creative oversights, and typos.
- Brief design agencies, printers, photographers, and filmmakers as directed.
- Manage the production of creative materials to support marketing and fundraising campaigns.
- Lead on brand inbox management and responding to requests.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as raising purchase orders and sending brand updates to agency partners.
- Assist with pulling together the quarterly metrics report for the Marketing Services team.
- Encourage brand best practices by providing practical advice to colleagues.
About You
We're looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and presentation skills. You'll have at least two years' experience in a similar creative marketing role and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud. Photography shoot experience is highly desirable.
