Senior Distressed Debt Specialist

The Opportunity Hub UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Distressed Debt Specialist to join their team. This role will involve conducting in-depth analysis and valuation of distressed debt instruments, including corporate bonds, bank loans, and other illiquid securities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in distressed debt, high-yield credit analysis, or related fields. They will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive research on distressed debt markets, including trends, pricing, and regulatory developments
- Monitoring and assessing credit events, bankruptcy proceedings, and other key developments affecting distressed securities
- Building and maintaining financial models to value distressed debt and illiquid securities
- Assisting in the structuring and negotiation of transactions, including the analysis of covenant packages and recovery scenarios
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software. They will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
The Opportunity Hub UK offers a dynamic and innovative work environment with opportunities for career growth in a specialised industry. The salary for this role is competitive, with a range of £100k to £150k depending on experience.
