We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Equipment Service Specialist to join our team in the UK and Ireland region.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work with leading scientific equipment, delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing analytical equipment across Scotland and North England.

Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality service, resulting in customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will work closely with our customers to identify their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver field service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance services
  • Schedule and coordinate service activities to ensure efficient use of time
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of experience servicing analytical equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel
