About the Opportunity
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Veterinary Practice Manager to join our busy first-opinion GP surgery in South East London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a strong team of nurses, veterinarians, veterinary care assistants, and receptionists. You will ensure efficient day-to-day operations, maintain high standards of animal care, and foster a collaborative work environment.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about clinical development, team building, and delivering high-quality care. As the Veterinary Practice Manager, you will be responsible for supervising clinical coaching and training of student nurses, collaborating closely with the veterinary team, and overseeing the maintenance and use of state-of-the-art equipment. You will also participate in the clinical work, performing nurse consultations, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting in surgery, and managing in-patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, veterinarians, veterinary care assistants, and receptionists.
  • Supervise clinical coaching and training of student nurses.
  • Collaborate closely with the veterinary team.
  • Oversee the maintenance and use of state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Participate in the clinical work.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with practice protocols.
