The William James Recruitment team is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to support our Real Estate legal team in Newcastle. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to provide essential administrative and secretarial assistance to the Real Estate team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with fee earners, managing workloads, and prioritising tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with fee earners to manage and prioritise workloads efficiently
  • Accurately produce various documents, including copy and audio typing
  • Manage diaries, scheduling meetings, and tracking fee earners' commitments
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence with professionalism
  • Communicate directly with clients, taking instructions, and maintaining comprehensive client records
  • Assist with billing and preparing legal documents, following established precedents
  • Prepare legal forms, ensuring all deadlines are met and time is recorded efficiently
  • Open and manage new client files, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
  • Maintain an organised and efficient filing system for fast and accurate information retrieval
