About the Role

Cotswold Energy Group is a leading innovator in energy improvements and decarbonisation, focusing on building fabric enhancements and renewable energy solutions. We are seeking a talented M&E Design Manager to lead our design function, managing a small team of mechanical and electrical engineers and carrying out design work as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design function, managing a team of designers and delivering all design activities within the business.
  • Produce M&E technical drawings and schematics, specifying equipment such as heat pumps, circulation pumps, and piping.
  • Design power and control systems, using 2D and 3D CAD modelling.
  • Carry out site surveys and review site installations to ensure conformance to design and specifications.
  • Drive improvements in design standards, procedures, and quality, implementing advances in design technologies.
Requirements
  • Minimum HND qualified engineer (ideally mechanical).
  • At least 3 years of experience in design within the building services industry.
  • People management experience desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with heat pumps desirable but not essential.
  • 2D and/or 3D CAD experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
