Surface Preparation Job Opportunity

Brodie Engineering is looking for a skilled Night Shift Painter to join their team.

The job involves preparing surfaces for painting, sanding surfaces to smooth out imperfections, applying masking tape and protective covers, and assisting with paint application when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for painting by removing dirt, grease, and old paint.
  • Sand surfaces to smooth out imperfections.
  • Apply masking tape and protective covers to areas not being painted.
  • Assist with paint application when necessary.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for sanding and cleaning.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects when required.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with power tools for surface preparation.
Competitive Salary and Benefits:

The hourly salary for this role is £13.83, which includes overtime and nightshift allowance, along with a comprehensive benefits package including EAP, private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, and other employee benefits.
