About The Role

Sunbelt Rentals Careers is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient transport routes across multiple depots.

Reporting to the Regional Transport Manager, you will play an active role in the safe operations of our transport operation and ensure our drivers, vehicles, and routes operate to the highest levels of safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the review process to optimise van/LGV schedules and 3PL usage
  • Delivering operational performance to agreed KPI targets, including on-time delivery performance, vehicle productivity, and accident reduction
  • Working proactively to reduce missed time-slots and late deliveries
  • Ensuring transport issues are resolved and drivers are briefed and debriefed

About You

To succeed as a Transport Planner, you will bring excellent organisation skills, a calm under pressure, and a good understanding of transport planning in a similar or transferable environment.
