Job Description

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with identified children and young people, encouraging them to learn and challenge themselves.

The role involves supporting 1:1 in class and around the school, helping pupils to access the curriculum and tailor lessons to their level of ability. You will also be responsible for making learning fun, enjoyable, and accessible, as well as being a support to pupils when they are struggling.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting 1:1 in class and around the school

Requirements:

  • 2 years' worth of references, 1 of which must be working with children or vulnerable adults
  • A relevant DBS/Police check
  • Able to work between 2-5 days a week

The pay rate is £13.00 per hour, including holiday pay. Five Education Recruitment Limited operates a PAYE payroll, ensuring transparency and no hidden fees. We are proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer.
