Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Five Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEN in a 1:1 or small group setting, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet the needs of children with SEN.
  • Help children access the curriculum, using strategies to engage and motivate them.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to manage their behavior and develop self-regulation skills.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience working with children or vulnerable adults, with a recent reference from a relevant employer.
  • A relevant DBS/Police check, with the ability to work with children and vulnerable adults.
  • Flexibility to work between 08:30-15:30, 2-5 days a week.
