About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Paradigm Housing. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for managing our 30-year business plan, working closely with various departments to ensure we deliver our corporate objectives within our financial capacity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the 30-year business plan, ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives and financial capacity.
  • Working with different areas of the business to deliver budgets and spend, ensuring compliance with treasury standards, lender covenants, and rating agency metrics.
  • Assisting the Development team and Strategic Asset Management team in reviewing investment appraisals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Understanding of key long-term financial planning approaches and principles.
  • Able to interpret and analyse financial statements.
  • Excellent Excel financial modelling skills.
  • Experience of Proval or similar development appraisal system.

About you:

We are looking for someone who can accurately manage various sources of data input, then consolidate this to prepare a business plan. You must be comfortable with presenting financial data and explaining outputs to non-finance colleagues.

Our ideal candidate has experience (or can demonstrate) the ability to challenge colleagues where required, to ensure that inputs are correct and reflect the actual business positions.
