We're seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team in London on an Industrial placement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying with Kier Group, a leading UK construction and infrastructure services company.

As an Industrial Placement candidate, you will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, including preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site.
  • Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to specifications.

We're looking for students undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, who have the option or requirement to complete a placement year from 2025 - 2026.

The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Please note that for certain positions, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required as part of the recruitment process.
