About the Role

The Social Worker will be responsible for undertaking assessments and investigations in relation to child safeguarding concerns. This will involve working with children, young people, and their families to identify and address risks to their safety and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant childcare legislation and be able to build effective relationships with children, young people, and families. They will also have the ability to work in a timely manner and be flexible when required to support children and young people.

Working Arrangements

The role will be based in the Town Hall and the Team Manager will be working in the Town Hall during office hours. However, there may be times when the successful candidate will need to work from another office or home.

The successful candidate will be required to have a valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative suitable method of travel.
