Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Vision Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of machine vision systems for space robotics applications. This role requires a strong knowledge of image processing and computer vision algorithms, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise image processing and computer vision algorithms for object detection, recognition, modelling, and tracking in space environments.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of vision systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of machine vision systems with overall robotics solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Vision, Robotics, AI, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in developing and implementing machine vision systems.
  • Strong knowledge of image processing and computer vision algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
