Animal Hospital Support Staff

Vets Now is seeking a skilled Animal Hospital Support Staff member to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Estimated Salary: £12.00 per hour plus benefits

We have 60+ dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals, committed to delivering compassionate care when pets need it most.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be the first point of contact during emergencies, handling calls, greeting clients, and managing financial transactions.
  • You will relay information to the veterinary team about patients en route to the clinic or clients in need of assistance.
  • Handle administration duties, including but not limited to:
  • Managing patient records
  • Handling payments and invoices
Working Pattern:

This role involves working a varied schedule, with different shifts each week.

Please find below an example of the typical working pattern for this role:

Role 1

Week 1: Monday (08:00-18:00) and Saturday (08:00-16:00)

Week 2: Monday (08:00-12:00) and Friday (08:00-18:00)

Week 3: Monday (08:00-12:00), Thursday (16:00-00:00) and Sunday (08:00-16:00)

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.

Role 2

Week 1: Tuesday and Wednesday (08:00-18:00)

Week 2: Tuesday (08:00-12:00), Saturday and Sunday (08:00-16:00)

Week 3: Thursday (08:00-12:00) and Friday (16:00-00:00)

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
