Data Engineering Product Developer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Edworkation Limited, where you will lead on design decisions and develop market-leading products. As a key member of our technical team, you will work collaboratively with diverse professionals to create innovative solutions for the healthcare market.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing on-premise and cloud-based data warehouse solutions using SQL and commercial ETL tools. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that our products remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Core Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in data warehousing, with a strong understanding of SQL Server 2012 and above, including TSQL.
- Familiarity with structured product development environments and a proven ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- An ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Snowflake, Informatica, or other leading data warehousing tools.
- A solid understanding of metadata-driven design principles and the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
- Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and tools, with a focus on automating testing and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps and its applications in data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.
- A background in cloud product development and the ability to leverage cloud-based technologies to drive innovation.
Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
